I'm Terrie Alley Pruett.  My husband Kenneth, Joey, & I would like to welcome you to The Dogwood Patch.  We purchased this lovely cross stitch store in May of 2006.  It was located in Blairsville, Georgia for 8 years.  The owner was ready to retire so we bought it, packed it up, & moved it to a sweet little shopping center off Main Street in the city of Hiawassee, Georgia.  From this new location we have an incredible view of the lake & the mountains.  As if that's not enough, the shopping center contains 3 other great stores.  Log Cabin Patchworks is a darling quilt store, Joan of Art has an incredible framing talent, and ArtWorks is a non-profit retail store and school for the arts.  It's 1-stop shopping for the cross stitcher.  Everything we need for our hobby all in the same building & what scenery to catch your eye during your visit.  It's a little patch of Heaven if you ask me. 

If you want to stay overnight there's the Holiday Inn Express & if you're tummy is hungry there's 2 wonderful restaurants on our little hill.  Or if you cannot make it to the shop in person, we hope you enjoy the pictures we've put on this website so you can feel like you're really here with us.
