Hey Spring Stitchers!
We got a cute Little House Needleworks chart in that I simply must get started on soon. It's called Stars & Stripes. It's 1 of the little charts. It has a sheep in it. I really like sheep. And it has a flag in it for the 2nd of my favorite things. And for you ladybug lovers, LHN has a chart for you called Ladybug, Ladybug. I know it's a must have for y'all. Not that I don't dislike ladybugs. They're ok, but still a bug. I'd categorize them as 1 of the less scary bugs. I know a lot of y'all don't understand how somebody can't find the love for the ladybugs. But being the terrified little lady of bugs that I am I still can wig out over a butterfly if I look @ it too close. But this newsletter is not about weird phobias. Moving on…..
Cottage House Needleworks
Cottage House Needleworks has a new cute one called La Boutique. I like the light blues in this one. This looks like a shop I'd like to visit. There's a lady walking toward the shop with a properly clothed little doggie. No, it's not Paris Hilton. This is a brunette & her dog looks like a white Scottie. She's donning a beautiful blue hat over her hair to match her blue dress. Hey, maybe it's Brittney Spears! LOL Well, she's been sporting wigs & hats while visiting the boutiques lately. Ok, turning the imagination off to finish the newsletter.
Crossed Wing, Blackbird Designs
Have y'all seen the 2007 Hummingbird from Crossed Wing Collection? Pretty! It's going after a beautiful bloom of a purple & bright pink fuscia plant. I love these, I used to have them hanging around my porch in the Summer. One time I was outside watering them & came nose to nose with a hummingbird. Both of us froze not knowing what to do for a minute. You know, I bet those little guys could do some damage with that sharp little beak if it needed to. Kenneth just put out the hummingbird feeders here @ the store this weekend. We have them placed near the windows for the stitchers sitting @ the tables to enjoy. But far enough away from the regular bird feeders so they won't be scared off by the bigger birds. Rumor has it April 15th is their arrival. Got juice?
And speaking of birds,
I have the Blackbird Designs-Their Song. This design is full of cherries &
blackbirds. It says: I value my garden more for being full of blackbirds
than of cherries & very frankly give them fruit for their songs. Isn't that
sweet?

Mirabilia
Did I talk about
Mirablilia in the last newsletter? It continually catches my eye. I'm
getting more fond of it every day. It's called Crystal Symphony. It's a very
regal young lady sitting on a bench underneath a gorgeous chandelier. She's
wearing a stunning white & silver gown with a huge bow in back with red roses
adorning the train. I'm thinking it must be Gautier? I'm sure she just
stepped inside from the red carpet!
Locks Of Love
You'll never guess
what I did March 29th! I donated my hair to
http://www.locksoflove.org.
The local newspaper arrived to cover it in an article. I did ask that the
stylist not cut it no more than necessary. When Joan from the Sentinel asked
if that's all that was going to be cut (12"), I gave the ok to Heather to chop
the whole pony tail off. It was going to be about bra strap length but ended
up a couple inches longer than chin length. I'm going to grow it out & donate
it again. There are others out there needing it so much more than I do. It's
such a little thing that can make such a big difference to someone else.
Anybody out there want to grow with me? We can have a hair growing race! But
no chemicals, they only take natural, non colored hair.

I guess that's about all I can think of to say in this newsletter. So let's put out those bird feeders, grow your hair & stitch on!
Terrie
