Anniversary

Y'all know what May 6th is?  That's my 1 year anniversary of being in business here in Hiawassee.  Woo-Hoo!  But it falls on a Sunday so I will be closed.  So I have to put my thinking cap on & see if it brings me an idea.   
 


I almost can't believe I've been in business a whole year already.  It went buy really fast.  But if I think about it I began in the Spring, saw everything come out & bloom.  I remember the Summer.  Billie & I ran around like headless chickens trying to keep up it was so busy.  We were hopping & the joint was jumping as they say!  It really wasn't all that hot last summer, thank goodness.  We endured the Winter.  We had a couple of snows but didn't have to close either time.  It was too cold for my liking.  But then again if the temp drops below 70 it's cold to me.  LOL  And here we are back around to another Spring & going for year #2.  What will this year bring us?  Hopefully God will give us another year of mild weather.  I'm hoping for a cool Summer & a warm Winter.  Sorry to y'all that like the cold & the snow.  But the close st I ever want to get to snow is the snowflakes I stitch on my fabric.  And if I need to build a snowman, I'll stitch one!
 



 Cake Week

Come Monday May 7, PARTY ON!  Let's bring in the new year!  I'm going to celebrate every day for a whole week.  I want cake too.  Let's have cake everybody!  A fresh & yummy Publix cake.  We'll have cake every day so nobody will miss the cake day!  I go by Publix from my house to here so having a fresh Publix cake every day won't be any problem @ all.  So come on over for a piece of cake whether it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, well, you get the idea, Every day that week I proclaim as CAKE DAY!
 

 

Sale

Hmmm, that's not enough.  I have to have a sale.  A big sale for a big celebration.  How about 35% off everything you buy Monday - Saturday May 7 - May 12.  And gift certificate drawings.  I'm going to give away some gift certificates.  When you come in, fill out a piece of paper with your address if you want it mailed to you or your phone number if you want me to call you to come & pick it up.  I will draw names Monday May 14 & let everybody know.

Little House Needleworks

Also I got a shipment from Crescent Colours yesterday.  I received the 2 new Thread Packs of the month.  The fruit is Plums.  The scripture is Believe.  Plums is cute with a bluebird on each side of the plum tree.  Believe is from Mark 9:23 which says All Things Are Possible To Him Who Believes.  Which is a verse I live on!  Don't know where I'd be if I didn't believe.

As long as I'm sending another newsletter I'll include the new charts I got today from Lizzie Kate.  There was the 2 new Flip-It-Bits June & July.  There's 3 charts in 1 called Summer Crazy.  It includes a golfing chart, a picnic chart & 1 I really, really like that says fun in the sun.  It has a beach towel & flip flops in it.  Also there's Welcome Baby & Just Married for those about to enter a new lifestyle.
